“I had the pleasure of chatting with David Jorgensen years ago when his name appeared on a local ListServ as the “go-to tile guy”. I was seeking advice on how to repair grout that had become badly stained and beyond cleaning. He convinced me a stain normally used for a backslash would work. As skeptical as I was, it certainly did work, and saved me tons of money not having to replace the tile in my kitchen and two hallways.
In 2014 his name came to the forefront when I had my kitchen renovated. I was indecisive about a design for a backsplash as I wanted to get pazazz to my new kitchen as it had no natural light. Mr. Jorgensen came to the rescue. His suggestion of white tiles, inset with beautiful stainless/mother of pearl was the solution. This added depth, light, texture and this is what really made my kitchen pop!
Next occasion, I was looking for a contractor to renovate two 70’s bathrooms at a reasonable price. After several estimates, I found no one who could give me interesting ideas. David Jorgensen to the rescue again!
From the get-go, David got the whole picture, had incredibly creative ideas, a keen eye for color, design, and style. I particularly appreciated David’s meticulous attention to detail and creative recommendations which transformed my very nebulous vision to reality.
The whole process from design to demolition to rebuilding went very smoothly. David meticulously coordinated the work with no lag time, was reachable at all times and checked on the job regularly. He was accurate in his initial assessment of the scale and cost of our project. He chose and managed the sub-contractors well. The job was completed within budget and on time.
Each person that came into my home showed respect for me and the project which made it bitter sweet as they finished.
My finished areas are beautiful and I am extremely pleased. Someone asked me recently if I could change one thing in my two bathrooms what would it be. My instant reply was absolutely nothing!!
#In 2016 – I had two bedrooms of wall-to-wall carpeting replaced with flooring. David gave me wonderful recommendations for the kind, color, type of flooring, and selected colors that would blend with the rest of my home. The team was efficient, courteous, and professional.
Kudos to David Jorgensen and Kruper Flooring!”
